Training Ground History
The ground was purchased in 2003 as agricultural farm land with the view of building a golf driving range, but other hobbies took over.

At the time of purchase the field as it was then was bean stubble with four large oak tree in the middle of the field. Wildlife grass seed was sown and the perimeter fenced, thus the starting of the beginnings of the training ground.

The ground was used by Julie and Andrew for their own dog training and kale cover crops were added for walked up training.

After Andrew won the 2006 IGL Retriever Championship it was decided to hire out the training ground to partly to finance adding additional feature to the ground, planting the wood, trees, hedges, digging ditches and adding jumps.
In 2007 Max, Andrews father planted the arboretum with 100 specialist trees and 500 infill trees to cremate Andrew winning the retriever championship the previous year.

The latest addition to the ground is the expansion of the lake and bunded areas added. The winter parking area has been extended and resurfaced.
